These terms apply to the RezTally app and the reztally.com website, provided by Dynamic Transition Consultants FZCO, 001-46411 Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we"). Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. By using RezTally you agree to these terms.
1. What RezTally does
RezTally records the days you spend in each country, counts them against day rules such as the Schengen 90/180 rule and residence day tests, and keeps a sealed, tamper-evident day log you can export.
2. Not advice
RezTally counts days. It does not give tax, legal, immigration or financial advice, and it does not decide whether you are resident anywhere or whether you may enter or stay in a country. Residence and immigration rules depend on more than days and change over time. Take advice from a qualified adviser before relying on any count.
3. Accuracy
Counts depend on what your iPhone and you tell RezTally: location services can be wrong or unavailable, and days can be missed, mistyped or imported wrongly. You are responsible for checking your day log and correcting it. The free website calculators count only the dates you enter.
4. What the sealed day log proves, and misuse
A check of an exported day log shows that its entries have not been changed since they were recorded. It does not show that what was recorded is true. If a device's location is falsified, a device is carried by someone else, or false days are entered, the day log will record them just the same. We do not detect, investigate or report misuse, and we are not responsible for any use of RezTally to mislead anyone. You must not use RezTally to create false records or to deceive a tax authority, border officer or anyone else.
5. Subscriptions
Premium is a yearly subscription sold by Apple through the App Store, with a free trial where offered. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. If your subscription ends, your day log stays on your iPhone and you can still read and export it.
6. Your data
Your day log is stored on your iPhone and in your iPhone's backups, not by us. You are responsible for keeping backups. See the privacy policy.
7. Liability
RezTally is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, RezTally or its counts, including tax, penalties, fines, refused entry or overstay consequences. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published here with its date.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
